SAVING CHILDREN IN COMMUNITIES
Children’s Aid Association a registered charity, aims to revive hope and offer solace to those in need-vulnerable children, orphaned kids, women, girls, elders, and impoverished youth residing in underserved Ugandan communities. We cater to their mental wellbeing, psychosocial support, medical, education, and other overall humanitarian requirements. Our support extends beyond essentials; we empower them to enhance their lives and livelihoods.

WE OPERATE IN UGANDA
- – According to the Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBOS), 30.1% lived in poverty in 2019/2020, around 12.3 million on less than $1.77/day.
- – This dire poverty stems from various factors: lack of clean water and food, inadequate healthcare, social inequality, conflict, education gaps, job scarcity, poor infrastructure, climate change.
- – Additionally, mental illness is a significant challenge in Uganda, with 22.9% of children and 24.2% of adults affected, primarily by depression and anxiety.
- – Uganda ranks among the top six African countries, with 4.6% affected by depression, and 2.9% with anxiety disorders, according to WHO in 2017.
HOSPITAL OUTREACHES
- Providing relief through giving basic supplies to those in hospitals
- Giving hope to the sick through counselling.
- Praying for the sick believing for divine intervention and healing.
- Encouraging the family of the sick, giving them reasons to be strong in treating the sick doing all it takes to save a life
- Giving financial assistance to cover treatment bills etc.
